The Baby shower!

Hello everyone! The Latest update from the WV is all about the Baby boy DiFalco baby block party held this past weekend. For those of you not from Franklin, the block party is an event held every couple of months in our neighborhood. It switches from house to house and there doesn't even have to be a reason (that's my favorite part!). In the winter there is a Christmas traveling block party (one person does cold appetizers, the next house does hot appetizers, the last Dessert!) For this party it was a baby themed party complete with the men chugging frosty drinks from baby bottles, (that's Matt Kile, Brian's co-worker and Brian trying to win)
The men and women trying to distinguish which melted candy bar made up the contents of the "soiled diaper" they were sticking their face in,

(Matt actually did win this competition...I think they actually tasted some of the samples!)












Of course there were many people stuffing their faces...including one special guest who flew 3,000 miles for the festivities! (Katie and I had a great time...especially afterwards when we got to assemble all the toys and wash all the clothes!)






We got many wonderful gifts including some very cute clothes, baby toys, blankets and burp cloths, stuffed animals, and plenty of diapers!



And of course there was cake
We had a great day full of excitement and food!
