Straight from the WV!!

The Latest Update in the WV is today...09-06-07
We have the 30 weeks pregnant pictures from today...how exciting! We had a Dr. Visit today (everything's great!)

We also had the big 3-D ultrasound...pictures to follow.

I really like to show off my belly...this is the belly at 30 weeks and new furniture!


The Room
We pretty much have the nursery done....just waiting for someone to sleep in there!
We got the room painted in a pretty purple blue ( it looks different in every picture and every light!) We got the furniture assembled thanks to some very patient people. Namely Brian and Katie. My excuse was that I can't bend over that far to help! We put some clothes in the drawers and assorted baby items fill the changing table! It's actually starting to look like a baby's room! The closet makes me a little jealous that mine isn't as organized...and that I don't have as many clothes! We are waiting until Grandpa Randy and Grandma Julie Come to visit in November to take the bed out of the room and spread the furniture out. ( also Brian may be spending his fair share of nights in there if he doesn't let me have my 3/4 of the bed!)

This is the dresser with expertly decorated lamp (Complements of Katie!)

This is the changing table.. with fluffy blanket complements of Grandma Korthals! (don't worry mom we will move the blanket before we actually use it!)

This is the Crib with the cutest bedding ever! You can't really tell from the picture but it's quilted and of course I love the stars too.

These are a few of the the best pictures we got to see today.
We learned a lot about little baby DiFalco today! Here are a few of the lessons we learned!

Lesson #1 He's a tired little man...rough life! He slept for almost 1/2 hour of being poked and prodded and talked about.... (that's a yawn by the way!)

Lesson #2 He is very shy. These little arms were covering his face the entire time. We kept trying to get him to move...but he sleeps just like mom does....with his hands near his face!



Lesson #3 Ribs are the perfect little garage for these little feet. And if you don't like your environment....just kick the garage door!






Lesson #4 we have got a little muscle man on our hands. See him flexing and sticking his little mouth out. By the way even the ultrasound tech could not deny the little man's similarities to mom! Especially the lips.




Lesson #5 Speaking of lips, we learned that the more you talk about what the baby's name might be....the more he moves his hands away from his face so you can see his lips! This is the only picture we got that you can see his lips!


So that's pretty much it for today! Hey, I have to sleep sometime!
