Here is Mason all ready for his first flight.
When we first arrived in Idaho we spent a few days in Payette. We saw family and friends and just relaxed. One day we went to Boise to see where Katie works and to take in some outlet shopping.
This is at Julia Davis Park.
Mason loved the ducks. He just couldn't stop looking at them.
Grandma loved looking at the ducks with Mason...or just holding him....either way!
4 Generations of Korthals'! We had a Fiesta one night to see family and friends!
After a few days in Idaho we left for the Oregon coast for some rest and relaxation. We had a few fun stops on the way. We stopped at Multnomah falls and at the Evergreen aviation museum to see the "spruce goose" .
The DiFalco's in front of the lower falls
Mason on his very own plane!
Mason's first steps in the ocean.
He didn't seem to mind the fact that it was like 60* outside.
Katie got some snuggling time in with the little man.
Grams and Mason...chilling out.
The giant rock where I scraped my knee.
A little family walk up the beach
The lighthouse we visited.
One of our main reason for the big trip was to cash in on some of the free babysitting we are always being offered. Grampa didn't seem to like to watch Mason that much...as you can see in the following pictures!
Let's take a nap!
Somebody looks pretty comfy!
Well if he's gonna sleep....I might as well "rest my eyes" too.
Katie taught him the finer things about foam machine guns.
This is how you load it Mason.
This is the reason you don't take pictures of yourself with other people's cameras!!
Nice pose dad!
Mason's first Mohawk!
The spoilers! with the Spoilee.
So we survived our first family adventure. One of our first dips in the ocean(Mason)...although Brian let us down when he promised us the polar bear plunge .....and never took it. We survived our first Freeway trip to and from Baltimore. We got our first airplane ride out of the way. Also accomplished: our first Taco night neighborhood block party, our first taste of ketchup/french fry (thanks Grampa), our first pose with a beer bottle, our first pinata, petting of a dog...or any other kind of animal. Also occuring, the first out of state travel (besides being born and random trips to Target.) We got Virginia, Maryland, Minnesota (the airport counts when you are 6 mo. old!) Idaho and Oregon. We had our first truck stop visit, our first outlet mall shopping, our first sleeping on grampa's belly and our first trip to a park. The first ducks we ever saw and the first seagulls. Our first kite flying experience and our first Hotel room. And the best one...our first #2 diaper changing on an airplane...in turbulence....in an airplane bathroom.....with out a baby changing table...by 1 person. Needless to say, Mason looks around with adventure in his eyes now, wondering when that next lick of ketchup is coming and when he's gonna get to sit in the sand and visit the really big bathtub again! Hope you all like the pictures...sorry they weren't on here sooner! Well I better go and tell Mason to stop riding on the neighborhood dogs! HA HA -Jamie
A big family photo op!

Jamie-I'm so glad you've started updating again. Mason is getting so big!! I saw Kelsy and Tyler (TJ) this weekend, they had a little boy, Carter Tyler Lyon on June 6th. He's got tons of hair! Next time you're coming home, give me some notice!!
